I remember last March quite clearly, the weather was fantastic and we both felt like it had all the signs of a lovely summer’s shooting. I think it’s safe to say that didn’t happen, so we’re hoping this year’s bizarre March weather means we will at last have a nice summer. The most frustrating thing has without a doubt been the snow, our last 4 shoots have been on snowy days and each time the snow had stopped just long enough for our shoot, then returned just as we leave! It definitely seems that the universe does not want us to get that lovely snow filled shot we think about every time we leave the house.
We met Sam and Rachel at Bramall Lane home to Sheffield United (The Blades). As huge fans of The Blades themselves Sam and Rachel thought it would be the perfect location for their engagement shoot. They had arranged a private tour for us to do the shoot, we got to look around the museum and see all the old and new trophies and definitely picked up a few facts about football as Chris and I have little knowledge about that! Having never been to a football stadium before I was excited at being able to stand in the middle of the empty pitch and get some amazing photographs, including one in Sam and Rachel’s season seats. Sam and Rachel are a lovely couple who were perfectly natural with the cameras. We had a great time looking around the stadium with them and are looking forward to their wedding this year. Hope you all enjoy the photos!
